To get "that" fightfeeling

Soonish its fightime.
No exact dates yet, but around next week it is. Went out to see some fight yesterday and by cornering Nim again I really got the fightfeeling. This time she fought a 10kg heavier BOY and lost by points. To bad she didnt got to show how good she really is. She sure is an Idol for me in the ring. Sooo skilled, so much experience, so strong, so technical and so much rutines!

yeah, anyways the fightfeeling does alot with the motivation. I usually have no problem motivating myself to train muay thai, but I definately push myself to RUN. I think of running as the downside to muaythai. I do it, but not because i Love it, I do it because it makes me better in what I love. So getting that fightfeeling and something to think about during the run makes it easier to do 8km in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. arrghhhhh, why the ******* is the Thaifood so delicious?

After this morningrun we did 1 hour of clinching, I love clinch, learned some new stuff today that i am totally sure to use in my upcoming fight <3

Just looked at my last fight as well. Again I only see what I can and should do better.

Yaa Nam Radompon

ohh yeah, Im about to do something that might be a bit crazy?! we will se in the morning...
this is how it tastes

but it will clean your body!

this is what I found out about it : "***RADOMPON the Number 1 drink for all Muay Thai boxers****

Who have been drinking this before? 555 :-)

The boxers drink this for healing and cleaning the body after a hard period of fighting. 2 bottles a year should be more than enough according to doctors we have been speaking to.

it is wellknown for the taste and one more surprise.

You try and find out 5555"

update tomorrow on how it goes!!!

Livin the Dream

For a lot of people my life at the moment would sound crazy.  Why am I using all my savings to go to Thailand and Eat,Train,Sleep-Repeat again and again?!
Not alot of stuff happens. My life is probably pretty boring if I think about it. All the energy I have, is used for training. Im almost not leaving the gym. Seeing the same people everyday, the trainers, fighters and the gym-crew.
This is how I choose to live my life at the moment. Why?
The love and passion to Muay Thai, the fun of the training, to learn new stuff everyday, to feel how I develop in many different ways, TO GET TO FIGHT and knowing that this is just one small road on the way to reaching my GOAL
Right now this is my dream, and I AM LIVING MY DREAM

A normal day would look like this at Por Promin, Hua Hin:
06.30 Alarm is ringing
06.35 Get out of bed, Eat a small meal, morning routines like brushing my theeth and stuff.
07.00 Run 5-8km, back to the gym stretching+skipping+shadowboxing
08.00 Padwork, Bagwork, Techniques, sparring,  situps, pushups+++
09.00/09.30 Proteinshake and electrolytes
10.00 Food at the gym
10.30 Sleep, Chillout or maybe a swim at the pool down the road, make a blogpost, watch some tv, try to study some thai in my thai-book, read a book or do whatever that doesent take a lot of energy.
15.00 wake up again, Eat
16.00 Run 3-5km, back to the gym, then Muay thai, same as in the morning.
18.00-19.00 proteinshake and electrolytes
19.30 Food at the gym
21.00 Go to bed :)

I love that I have time! not only for the training, but also for the recovery as well.
The schedual above is a normal day, but not a everydayer... Like today: I skipped morning training to sleep in. Quality is better than Quantity, and I know my body well enough to know when to take a session or a day of. Afternoontraining is now going to be extra fun with alot of brand new energy.

Back "home"

Just got back "home" from our Isaan trip! Its been a epic, different and fun trip. But now its so nice to be back in Hua Hin and at Por Promin gym again.

Jade Marrissa Sirisompans facbook status says alot: " Back home in Bangkok now, glad to be home. Isaan taught me so much, it was an amazing experience, from Surin to Buriram. I felt almost every type of emotion on my trip... it was amazing and horrific at times, but overall i had a great trip. I found a really good gym, Sit Namkabuan Buriram, met amazing people, saw and experienced some things that are so surreal to me i didnt know if i was in a dream, nightmare or real life and i ate somtam like everyday lol."

GymRewiew Por Promin Muay Thai, Hua Hin

Por Promin Muay Thay Gym in Hua Hin <3 Miss them alot allready!

The first question to ask: Will you go back? Yes, I not only want to, but are also planning to :) You get welcomed as a family and it doesent take long until u are one of the family! The training is epic, the location is good and the people are awsome!

Location: A ten minutes drive from Hua Hin town and the beach. Down the street, just a little to far to walk in the heat, but fine taking a bike or motorbike its 7/11, pharmacy, massageplaces, hairdressers, restaurants, swimmingpool and more. Its in a quiet location, perfect if you want to train hard and dont want to much distraction from training.
Kin, headtrainer

Gym: One ring and matts on the floor, plenty of bags and a small weight lifting corner. They have all the equipment you need and its clean and nice.

Food: If you enjoi thaifood, you are going to love the food at the gym. Eat with the fighters and you will get new eatingexperiences, get food you never would have ordered yourself in a restaurant, get a new favourite thaidish, and have problem loosing weight if thats on your agenda ;)

Rooms: Clean and nice aircon or fan rooms. Its also plenty of other accomodation alternatives close by.

Training: You get everything! They are good to adapt to your level and teach you from there. Running, skipping, padwork, bagwork, technique, sparring, clinching+++

Trainers: All the trainers are really good. And they are really trying to teach you. Unlike many other gyms in thailand where they try to make you tired as hell, and say "good" to everything no mather how shitty you are. Here u get the fact, if you do the same mistake to many times you wouldent get a rest until you do the right thing. If you are open for it, you will learn tons.

Headtrainer KIN: My favourite trainer as he speaks good english, are good at teaching techniques, pushes me hard, has a good training philosophy, and is really funny, makes training fun!!!

Miriam & Kin
Miriam: Kins lovely wife, from England can help you with basicly everything, knows Thailand well and speaks fluent thai. Dont hesitate to contact her and get more information about the gym. Facebook

You might eaven get the chance to corner one of the fighters :)
